  • NOT Forcing my opinion on you. Just informing.

In September 1993, Brenda Pratt Shafer, a registered nurse with thirteen years of experience, was assigned by her nursing agency to an abortion clinic.

Since Nurse Shafer considered herself "very pro-choice," she didn't think this assignment would be a problem

    She was wrong

This is what Nurse Shafer saw:

"I stood at the doctor's side and watched him perform a partial-birth abortion on a woman who was six months pregnant. The baby's heartbeat was clearly visible on the ultrasound screen. The doctor delivered the baby's body and arms, everything but his little head. The baby's body was moving. His little fingers were clasping together. He was kicking his feet. The doctor took a pair of scissors and inserted them into the back of the baby's head, and the baby's arms jerked out in a flinch, a startle reaction, like a baby does when he thinks that he might fall. Then the doctor opened the scissors up. Then he stuck the high-powered suction tube into the hole and sucked the baby's brains out. Now the baby was completely limp. I never went back to the clinic.

But I am still haunted by the face of that little boy

It was the most perfect, angelic face I have ever seen"

But what about if the fetus had been aborted at a younger age.. say 6 weeks? When the fetus is this young, doctors use the Saline Method, where they inject a salty saline solution into the mother's womb. You would think it would just poison the fetus, but it actually burns it to death. Even though it is so young, on ultrasounds of the abortion, the fetus is seen pulling away from the poison as it is injected.. obviously wanting to stay alive.(The baby is intelligent enough to move away from the pain..but the child can't escape it)

  • Fuck you Ryanair... just fuck you...

Ryanair are bastards and I hate them.

    Questions? no? ok then.

We got to stanstead airport today to leave london at like 4:30-5:00 and our flight wasn't scheduled to leave till 6:40 so we were there in PLENTY of time!
We go to the desk to check in only to find that we need our confirmation number to check in using a new fancy machine. We had no confirmation number on us, so we have to find a little "internet kiosk" and look it up, no big deal thats fine. But, here's where it gets interesting, the boarding passes it gives us say that the gate CLOSES at 6:10 its already 5:45, we have yet to go throught security. So, we check our bag, and get through security ASAP.

Out the other side of security we look at the board to find our gate and it says "final boarding call" for our flight, needless to say we RAN there. Now, i'm not sure how many of you have been in that terminal, but Ryanair are always the LAST set of gates which is about a mile away from security, so we run a mile and when we get there are you ready for this.... the fuckers haven't even STARTED boarding the damn plane. We nearly killed ourselves getting to a plane that hadn't even begun to board. I was pissed off to say the very least!

Does anyone remeber that great quote from "The Breakfast Club" that Bender says about his dad?? No? Well....
"No dad, what about you? Fuck you. No dad, what about you? Fuck you. Dad, what about you? Fuck you."

Lets just say that the word "dad" was replaced by "Ryanair"...

In conclusion- I hate that fucking airline.

  • I would love to know why my exes are ALWAYS fuckwits

MSN with my ex for the first time in weeks goes horribly wrong.....

    The Ex:
You never really knew me to begin with really.

    I
    said:
obviously i never really knew you. If i had i wouldn't have given you the time of day.

    The Ex:
That depends on whether you knew the good part of me or the bad. The latter of the two im sure you realise is brought out in me by you.

    I said:
i think i knew what you wanted me to know, what you thought would get me to stay and it worked, congradulations, you played me way back in march what do you want a fucking prize? You are a manipulator, you charm your way into peoples affections then when you have what you want you fuck off because the challange isn't there anylonger

    The Ex:
If believing that makes you feel better then okay. No i wouldnt like a prize my amusement out of it is fine thanks.

    I said:
hate or resent me as much as you want, i don't give a shit.

    The Ex:
Good dont mind me laughing if or when bad things happen to you then.

    I said:
i haven't for a long time. As long as you don't involve the people I love in your petty vendetta.

    The Ex:
A vendetta has a valid meaning behind it and i wouldnt dream of it. I have no business doing so.

    I said:
good. because if you go to dave and ask if i have cancer again then i will have a problem, atleast have the balls to say it to my face next time.

    The Ex:
I would have if you had been there dont worry. As much as i would like to continue conversing with you i must be off.

    Back Story-
Me and that guy were together for like a month and he was nice and stuff but he dumped me and got with someone else 1 day later and ever since he's hated me.

I really don't get him... I just... UGH anyone able to shed light on whats going on in his weird mind?

    London

    First of all, wow!

The past 24 hours have been a blur, but the most amazing blur ever.

Emily arrived in Tralee on Wednesday evening and we hung out a bit before calling it a night! In the morning (6am!) we got up and dragged our asses to Kerry Airport, the flight was grand, got to LDN ahead of schedule, sorted everything on the way into the city centre from Stanstead on the train, we decided to hit Camden first thing for some serious shopping!

Camden was just as amazing as I remember, bought some awesome stuff- A leather jacket was my main purchase though! I love it! Its tres sexy if i do say so myself! Tehe! Emily got takeout sushi and edemame... but seeing as I don't like that I got some yummy mexican in the Lock! (you won't know what the Lock is unless you've been there but oh well)

The concert... was oh wow... without a doubt the best thing I've ever seen!

I'm just going to bullet point it because otherwise I'll babble (more).
    • Emily and I were so so so close to the stage- like 50 feet!!
    • They were filming the show for the 3D concert film and a DVD!! So I could be in that!!
    • "Lovebug" was THE stand out moment though, during the second chorus the boys stopped singing and playing and the WHOLE crowd sang it back... 4000 girls singing thir hearts out to them... the looks on their faces were so suprised and happy.
    • They did a cover of "Fix You" by Coldplay and it was sooo great, it was the perfect song for the moment, because they had just played a really sad song ("A Little Bit Longer")
    • Half the time you couldn't properly hear them singing because the crowd was singing so loud!
    • We all sang happy birthday to Nick (his 16th is on the 16th of this month)
    • Demi Lovato sang her new single "Get Back" and "This is Me"
    • During "Gotta Find You" Joe brought up this little girl and she sang with him... it was such a special moment.
    • When Emily and I were standing on our chairs waving out glowsticks, and jumping around, we did the sign language for "I Love You" Joe looked RIGHT at us pointed and smiled! We know that he meant it for us because we were really close and they had changed the lights so they could see the crowd! Needless to say we lost it.
There are loads of pictures and videos so make sure you check out my bebo, myspace, facebook, and youtube for all those!!!!

Over all London was the best night of my life!! =]

    Summer 2008

Well summer 08 has been nothing short of brilliant. Loved every minute of it. Between the Jonas Brothers in June and the Festival thats going on now, there have been ALOT of great times.

    • The Jonas Brothers and Avril Lavigne concert in Dublin, that was nothing short of amazing, a great way to kick off the summer.
    • Breaking up with my ex, it was the best decision i ever made.
    • Getting together with my current boyfriend, Dave. He's been with me though the summer and its been the best ever thanks to him!
    • Enda's house party, omg was that ever a fun night!
    • Going to Dingle and to the Fun Fair... some fun nights for sure
    • Attempting to see the Dark Knight with the lads- sold out, we all went for pizza instead and i freaked the shit out of Enda =D
    • Raffaella's Birthday Party! Sally was so funny she- can't remember 2 hours, ate half a fag, and madeout with Faolan over Jimmy all in all we laughed our asses off.
    • The Fun Fair with all the lads- Mr. Shnookums... enough said!
    • The Rose of Tralee- even though its not over yet I still always have so much fun, everyone goes into town and you always get to stay out later because its the festival, YAY for extended curfew! LOL
    • The Gig in Dingle- Emily, Ryan and I definately were the crazy ones there we danced the whole time (badly) and talked to the bands after it was so much fun, the guys from National Saturday are so awesomely nice.
Then there are all those times with my friends that I can't remember when they happened, but, my god they have been the greatest fun ever. I love all my friends, they've definately made Summer 2008 the best ever.

    xx
